this work was developed with the baiana videomaker and artist domênica guimarães.
for this part of our narrative we mixed sea and waves, shells, flowers, godess and women's eyes to create a silent and ritual moment: "the night does not sleep in women's eyes" (from conceição evaristo's poem)
i used some stopmotion shells i photographed for the dynamic moviment above the pictures domênica did at the ritual for the sea goddess iemanjá. i composed this photograph material video as a contrast with other graphics styles from other sources, bringing some "organic" texture for this work sequence.
